Can I contact you over the phone?

Yes, we have a dedicated team of customer services representatives to answer any queries you might have. But during busy periods, we do suggest that you also send an email to customercare@theshirtstore.co.uk.


What email address should I use to contact you?

You can email any queries you have about your order or products on the website to customercare@theshirtstore.co.uk. Our operations team go through all customer emails and forward them to the relevant departments who will answer your queries directly back to you.

SHIPPING

How long does delivery take and how much does it cost?

We work in partnership with Royal Mail, offering an unbeatable service both in delivering your package and customer service. UK delivery is ?2.99 and if you place your order by 2pm it usually takes up to 2 to 3 working days but during busy periods it can take longer.  If you need your parcel next day we offer a Next Day Guaranteed Service and a Saturday Guaranteed service (UK only).


Does The Shirt Store ship to Post Office boxes or Freight Forwarding addresses?

Please note that we are unable to deliver to Post Office boxes and we do not deliver to Freight forwarding addresses.


Is my item insured?

Yes, all items are insured against theft and accidental damage whilst in transit from The Shirt Store to the shipping address. Once your items have been delivered to the specified delivery address and signed for, they are no longer covered by insurance.


Do I need to sign for my order?

Yes, a signature is required when your order is delivered.


Can I change my shipping address after my order has been dispatched?

We are unfortunately unable to redirect orders once your items have been dispatched. Therefore, please ensure you provide a suitable shipping address for the specified delivery times.


Can I track my item?

Upon dispatch of your order you will receive an email with your tracking number, you can track your order directly on the royal mail website at www.royalmail.com/track-your-item.


What if I am out when my item is delivered?

Don't worry. If you are not in when Royal Mail deliver your parcel, a card will be left giving you the option to re-arrange delivery or collect the parcel from your nearest post office/depot.

What payment methods does The Shirt Store accept?

The Shirt Store accepts major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and Delta through our payment service provider Worldpay. All credit card details are secured with 128-bit encrypted sessions and all sensitive information is stored on a heavily encrypted database that is protected by multiple government approved firewalls. We also accept payment by PayPal and Amazon Checkout.


Do you take payment over the phone?

We can place an order or take payments over the phone, call ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~


Is it safe to use my credit card online?

Here at The Shirt Store, your personal online security is important to us. We use the latest SSL encryption technology to store and safely transmit your personal and credit card information through our systems.   The Shirt Store complies with all aspects of the Data Protection Act of 1984 and the new act of 1998 and as such are registered with the Data Protection Commissioner. We do not disclose details of our customers to any third party.

You may also choose to securely store your credit card details with us. This means you will not have to enter them again during future purchases, making it quicker and simpler to shop at The Shirt Store.


How do I change currency?

You can select which currency you view our products in by using the drop down menu on the right hand side of the site; USD, EUR or GBP.  


How much duties and taxes will I have to pay?

It is important to note that you may have to pay custom duties and taxes on the items you purchase and that these local fees are not included in your Shirt Store invoice. Please check the Royal Mail website for more information about international charges if you are unsure.

Please note that in Canada you will always be liable to pay import duties and taxes over a value of 60 Canadian Dollars.


ORDERING


Do I need to set up an account with The Shirt Store to place an order?

Yes, you must register an account in order to make a purchase from the The Shirt Store website. Registering makes it easier to place orders in the future. The online instructions at the checkout stage will guide you through the registration process. You have the option to continue without registering, but you will still need to input your personal details.


I've forgotten my password, what should I do?

If you have forgotten your password, click the "Forgotten password" link found on the login page.

You will then be asked to enter your email address, and a new password will be sent to your email address. You can change your password by using the "Change password" link found on your account dashboard.


I am unable to log into my account, what should I do?

If for some reason you are unable to log into your account, our phone number and email address can be found on the contact page. 


Is my personal information kept private?

Please be assured that your personal information is kept private and confidential and at no point will we rent or sell this.  To register at The Shirt Store, we will need to know your name, mailing address and email address. When processing your order online we require your billing address, shipping address, telephone number, credit card details. 


How do I make a purchase?

We've aimed to make this process as easy as possible. If you follow these steps, your desired clothing will be zooming its way to you in no time.

Find an item you want to buy

1. Choose a colour and the desired size from the product size and colour selection grid on the right hand side of the product page

2. Then click Add to Bag to add the item to your Shopping basket

3. Once you've finished shopping, click on Checkout Now, located in the top right corner of the screen, or click the Go to checkout button on each product page.

4. Once you reach the checkout screen, if you have a discount  code, enter it now. Otherwise, click the Checkout button

5. If you are an existing The Shirt Store customer, please enter your username and password and click Checkout

6. If you're a new Shirt Store customer, you'll need to register your details. Registering makes it easier to place orders in the future. The online instructions will guide you through the registration process. You have the option to continue without registering, but you will still need to input your personal details.

7. Once you are logged in as either a new or existing customer, or have entered all relevant information, you will need confirm your delivery choice and then proceed to Payment

8. Enter your payment details and click Confirm order

9.You should see a message confirming your order has been placed and is being processed. An email confirmation will be sent to your registered email address

How do I know if an item is out of stock?

All items are in stock unless "Sold Out" is displayed.

Will the Item be exactly the same colour as shown on the website?

Every care has been taken to use images that most accurately reflect the actual colour of garments. However, this is not an exact science and slight variations may occur
